Blog Birthday Giveaway!

The moment you've been waiting for has arrived - the blog birthday giveaway!  Roll down to the widget on the blog in this post to participate.  Also, I picked out a lot of stuff when I went shopping for this blog giveaway....I couldn't put it all in one giveaway, so keep a close eye on the blog.  I'll be having some more giveaway soon!

The first item you can win is the movie "To Save a Life."  It's an excellent movie about how the loss of one life can impact those around you.  It is rated PG-13, and a review can be found here. I greatly enjoyed the movie - it's an excellent movie.  Yet it wasn't made to be a "Christian" movie, it was made to reach out to those who are struggling with everyday issues and can relate.  It deals with a lot of serious issues: drinking, drugs, immorality, language, and suicide.   It does an amazing job of applying Christ to those situations though - and shows that all actions (good or bad) have consequences.


The second item you can win is the CD "Crave" by the band For King & Country.  The CD features the band's best hits so far in their musical career: "Proof of Your Love," "Busted Heart," and "Middle of Your Heart."  The band consists of two brothers, Joel and Luke. You may not know much about them, but I bet you know some things about their big sister, Rebecca St. James!  They are Australian  their voices are excellent and their message is solid.
